Ingredients
3/4 cup (12 Tbsp; 170g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
3/4 cup (150g) packed light or dark brown sugar
1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
1 large egg, at room temperature
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup (135g) white chocolate chips
1 cup (140g) dried cranberries
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
2. Add the egg and vanilla, then mix again until smooth.
3. In another bowl, whisk flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
4. Mix dry ingredients into wet until combined.
5. Fold in white chocolate chips and cranberries.
6. Chill dough for at least 1 hour.
7. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (177Β°C) and line baking sheets.
8. Scoop dough into 1.5 Tbsp balls and place 3 inches apart.
9. Bake 11β12 minutes until edges are golden.
10. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to rack.
Notes
Use high-quality white chocolate for best flavor.
Chilling is crucial to prevent over-spreading.
Add extra chips and cranberries on top for a bakery look.
