- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, then mix in dry ingredients to form dough.
- Press dough into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
- Pour cheesecake mixture over the crust and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set. Cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
