Sous Vide Frozen Chicken Breast

Cooking chicken breast from frozen has never been easier. Sous vide method ensures juicy and tender chicken every time.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 2 frozen chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Set the sous vide machine to 149Β°F (65Β°C) and allow it to preheat.
  2. Season the frozen chicken breasts with salt and pepper and place each in a separate vacuum-seal or zip-lock bag, adding a splash of olive oil.
  3. Seal the bags and submerge them in the water bath. Cook for 1.5 to 4 hours. Remove from the bags and sear in a hot pan for 1 to 2 minutes per side if desired for a browned finish.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
