For the Crust:

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, and honey. Add beef, toss to coat, and marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the marinated beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat.
  3. In serving bowls, layer cooked rice, then top with beef, a sprinkle of sesame seeds, and green onions. Serve hot.
