Deliciously moist cupcakes topped with a rich salted caramel cream cheese frosting.

For the Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin pan with cupcake liners.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Mix in the flour alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared cupcake liners and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- For the frosting, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Slowly add the caramel sauce and sea salt, mixing until well combined.
- Once the cupcakes are cooled, generously spread the salted caramel cream cheese frosting on top or use a piping bag for a decorative finish.
