Rustic Garlic Rosemary Skillet Bread

Description

An incredibly easy, no-knead bread with a crispy crust and a soft, fragrant interior infused with garlic and fresh rosemary.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 2 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Stir in flour, salt, rosemary, and minced garlic until a shaggy dough forms. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  3. Preheat oven to 450Β°F (230Β°C) with a 10-inch cast iron skillet inside. Carefully remove the hot skillet, add olive oil, and place the dough inside. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
