For the Crust:
- 1 pound corned beef, sliced
- 2 cups sauerkraut, drained
- 1 cup Russian dressing
- 8 slices rye bread
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
- In a baking dish, layer half of the rye bread slices on the bottom.
- Top the bread with half of the corned beef, half of the sauerkraut, half of the dressing, and half of the Swiss cheese. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and lightly golden.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
