Delicious and moist pineapple upside-down cake bars with a sweet caramelized topping.

For the Crust:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 can (20 oz) pineapple slices, drained
- 10 maraschino cherries
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup pineapple juice
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pour melted butter into a 9×13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the butter.
- Arrange pineapple slices over the sugar and place a cherry in the center of each pineapple ring.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and pineapple juice. Beat until smooth.
- Pour the batter over the pineapple slices, spreading evenly.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool for 10 minutes and then invert the cake onto a serving platter.
