For the Crust:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease a 9Γ—13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and sour cream. Add to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in the sliced peaches. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
