Description

A vibrant and herbaceous dip made with extra virgin olive oil, fresh herbs, and zesty lemon. Perfect with crusty bread for an appetizer.

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup high-quality extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the minced garlic, parsley, rosemary, oregano, red pepper flakes, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Pour the extra virgin olive oil and fresh lemon juice over the herb mixture.
  3. Whisk all ingredients together until well combined.
  4. Let the dip sit at room temperature for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld before serving.
