A flavorful and easy-to-make Mediterranean-inspired dish featuring baked feta cheese with olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and herbs.

For the Crust:

  • 8 oz block of feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup Kalamata olives, pitted and halved
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • Crusty bread or pita, for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
  2. Place the feta block in a small baking dish. Surround it with olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and minced garlic.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the feta and sprinkle with oregano and red pepper flakes.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the feta is soft and slightly golden.
  5. Remove from oven, drizzle with lemon juice, and garnish with fresh parsley.
  6. Serve warm with crusty bread or pita.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
