For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper. Form mixture into meatballs.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add onion and garlic; sautΓ© until translucent. Add mushrooms and cook until softened.
  4. Stir in beef broth and heavy cream, bringing to a simmer. Return meatballs to the skillet and cook for 20 minutes, ensuring meatballs are cooked through.
