For the Crust:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 8 oz bowtie pasta
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp butter
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a bowl, combine chicken pieces, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, oregano, salt, and pepper. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Cook bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Reduce heat to medium and add butter, heavy cream, and parmesan cheese to the skillet. Stir until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
