For the Crust:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade. Add shrimp and let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp, reserving the marinade. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove shrimp.
- Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened to create a glaze.
- In a small bowl, mix sriracha and lime juice to create the chili lime sauce.
- Assemble bowls with a base of rice, top with glazed shrimp, drizzle with chili lime sauce, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
