This decadent cheesecake combines the rich flavors of chocolate and cherries to create a heavenly dessert experience.

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Mix chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter in a medium bowl. Press evenly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, cocoa, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed until just blended. Pour over crust.
  3. Bake for 45 minutes or until center is set. Cool completely. Refrigerate for 4 hours. Top with cherry pie filling and whipped cream before serving.
