Greek Chicken Meatballs with Homemade Tzatziki Sauce

Delicious and easy-to-make Greek-style chicken meatballs served with a refreshing homemade tzatziki sauce.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground chicken, garlic, breadcrumbs, feta, parsley, egg, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly combined.
  3. Form the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.
  5. For the tzatziki sauce, in a bowl combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  6. Serve the cooked meatballs with the tzatziki sauce on the side.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
