Delicious and aromatic Greek chicken meatballs served with a refreshing homemade tzatziki sauce.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 cucumber, grated
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, egg, and parsley. Form into meatballs.
  3. Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until cooked through.
  4. For the tzatziki sauce, squeeze excess water from grated cucumber. Combine cucumber with yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, and salt in a bowl.
  5. Serve meatballs with tzatziki sauce.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
