  • Author: Chef Lolytta

Description

Tender, juicy steak bites seared in a rich garlic butter sauce, served over twisted pasta coated in a creamy, spicy Cajun Alfredo sauce.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 12 oz twisted pasta (such as cavatappi or fusilli)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. While the pasta cooks, pat the steak bites dry and season generously with salt, pepper, and half of the Cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add the steak bites in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium. Add the butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add the garlic and sautΓ© for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream, remaining Cajun seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a gentle simmer, then whisk in the parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and steak bites back to the skillet. Toss everything until well coated in the sauce and heated through.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes
