For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 4 cups dry stuffing mix (such as cornbread or herb-seasoned)
- 1 cup chicken or turkey broth
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, finely diced
- 1/3 cup onion, finely diced
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the dry stuffing mix and broth. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until the broth is absorbed.
- Add the ground turkey, cranberries, celery, onion, eggs, parsley, sage, thyme, and pepper to the bowl. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
- Using damp hands, form the mixture into 1.5-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about an inch apart.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the stuffing balls are golden brown and the internal temperature of the turkey reaches 165Β°F (74Β°C). Serve warm.
