  • Author: Chef Lolytta

Description

A delightful and easy-to-serve twist on classic stuffing, featuring savory turkey, herbs, and sweet dried cranberries, baked into perfect individual portions.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 4 cups dry stuffing mix (such as cornbread or herb-seasoned)
  • 1 cup chicken or turkey broth
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely diced
  • 1/3 cup onion, finely diced
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the dry stuffing mix and broth. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until the broth is absorbed.
  3. Add the ground turkey, cranberries, celery, onion, eggs, parsley, sage, thyme, and pepper to the bowl. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
  4. Using damp hands, form the mixture into 1.5-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about an inch apart.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the stuffing balls are golden brown and the internal temperature of the turkey reaches 165Β°F (74Β°C). Serve warm.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
