For the Crust:

  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 oz pasta of choice
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add sausage bites and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sautΓ© for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well and simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until evenly coated with the sauce.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
