For the Crust:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onions and caramelize until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
- Add rice to the skillet and stir to coat with the onion mixture. Pour in 2 cups of water and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed. Fluff with a fork before serving.
