For the Crust:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, toss chicken pieces with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sautΓ© for 30 seconds. Add rice and stir to coat with the garlic.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15-18 minutes until rice is tender.
  5. Stir in parmesan cheese and parsley. Return chicken to the skillet and mix gently. Serve warm.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
