For the Crust:

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup blueberry jam

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture, stirring until combined.
  4. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese until smooth. Gently swirl in blueberry jam.
  5. Scoop cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Using a teaspoon, make an indentation in the center of each cookie and fill with a small spoonful of the cream cheese and blueberry mixture.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden. Cool on a wire rack.
