A rich and fudgy brownie bread that gives you the best of both worlds: moist chocolatey brownie and comforting fluffy bread.

For the Crust:

  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a 9Γ—5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract; beat well.
  3. Stir in the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly. Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
  5. Allow to cool before slicing and serving.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
