A rich and moist caramel cake topped with creamy caramel frosting, perfect for any special occasion.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
  3. Mix in the flour alternately with the milk, starting and ending with the flour. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Allow cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
  6. Spread caramel sauce between the cake layers and over the top. Serve and enjoy!
