A deliciously spicy and crispy beef dish perfect for dinner.

For the Crust:

  • 500g beef steak, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chilli sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 spring onions, chopped
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Coat the beef strips in cornstarch until well covered.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry the beef until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sautΓ© garlic and ginger until fragrant, then add bell pepper and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  4. Add soy sauce, chilli sauce, rice vinegar, and honey to the pan. Stir well to combine.
  5. Return the beef to the pan and toss everything together until the beef is well coated with the sauce.
  6. Garnish with spring onions before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
