Crispy Chicken Tempura Roll with Avocado & Cucumber

A delicious fusion roll combining crispy chicken, creamy avocado, and fresh cucumber, wrapped in sushi rice and nori.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 3 sheets nori
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, julienned
  • 200g chicken breast, cut into sticks
  • 1 cup tempura batter
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook sushi rice according to package instructions and let it cool.
  2. Dip chicken sticks into tempura batter and fry until golden and crispy. Let drain on paper towels.
  3. Place a sheet of nori on a sushi mat, spread a thin layer of rice on top, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  4. Flip over the nori so the rice is on the bottom, and line the center with avocado, cucumber, and 2-3 pieces of crispy tempura chicken.
  5. Roll tightly using the sushi mat, slice into pieces, and serve with soy sauce.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
