For the Crust:

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups seafood stock
  • 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 pound crab meat
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sautΓ© until the onion becomes translucent.
  2. Stir in the seafood stock and bring to a gentle simmer. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink.
  3. Lower the heat and stir in the crab meat, tomato paste, and heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper, then cook for another 5 minutes, ensuring everything is well combined. Garnish with parsley before serving.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
