For the Crust:
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups seafood stock
- 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 pound crab meat
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sautΓ© until the onion becomes translucent.
- Stir in the seafood stock and bring to a gentle simmer. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink.
- Lower the heat and stir in the crab meat, tomato paste, and heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper, then cook for another 5 minutes, ensuring everything is well combined. Garnish with parsley before serving.
