Creamy Alfredo Lasagna Soup

A comforting and creamy soup that combines the flavors of Alfredo sauce and the classic lasagna.

For the Crust:

  • 8 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil, for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large pot, cook the broken lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground chicken and garlic powder. Cook until the chicken is browned.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer, then stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  4. Add the cooked lasagna noodles back to the pot. Season with salt and pepper, and simmer for a few more minutes to heat through.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
