Description

A festive cheese ball made with cream cheese, cranberries, and pecans, perfect for holiday appetizers.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • For coating: 1/2 cup chopped pecans and 1/2 cup dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar until well combined.
  2. Stir in the chopped dried cranberries, chopped pecans, garlic powder, and salt.
  3. Shape the mixture into a ball and wrap it in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  4. In a shallow dish, combine the additional chopped pecans and dried cranberries for coating.
  5. Roll the chilled cheese ball in the pecan-cranberry mixture until fully coated.
  6. Serve with crackers or vegetables.
