A delightful and refreshing pea salad, perfect as a side dish for any southern meal.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups frozen peas, thawed
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped cooked bacon
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the thawed peas, mayonnaise, and red onion.
  2. Stir in the cheddar cheese, bacon, and fresh dill.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
