Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake

A decadent chocolate cheesecake topped with fresh strawberries, perfect for special occasions.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the oven to 325Β°F (165Β°C).
  2. Mix the chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter; press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in sour cream and melted chocolate until fully combined.
  4. Pour cheesecake mixture over crust in the pan. Bake for 50 minutes, or until center is set. Let cool before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
  5. Before serving, arrange sliced strawberries on top of the cheesecake.
