For the Crust:
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 4 eggs
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a 9Γ13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix and melted butter. Add 2 eggs and mix well. Stir in the chopped pecans.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and remaining eggs until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and mix until fully combined.
- Spread the cake mixture into the prepared dish and top with the cream cheese mixture, spreading evenly.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until lightly browned and set. Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
