A savory chicken and mushroom dish cooked in a creamy Asiago and mustard sauce, perfect for a satisfying dinner.

For the Crust:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Asiago cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and sear them in the skillet until golden brown on both sides and cooked through.
  2. Remove chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, add mushrooms and sautΓ© until soft and golden brown.
  3. Reduce heat to low, add heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and Asiago cheese to the mushrooms. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy. Add the chicken back to the skillet and simmer for a few minutes until heated through.
