For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup water chestnuts, diced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 head butter lettuce, leaves separated
- 1/4 cup Thai chili sauce for serving
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add sesame oil. Cook ground chicken until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add garlic and ginger to the skillet, sautΓ© for 1 minute. Stir in soy sauce, water chestnuts, and green onions. Remove from heat.
- Spoon the chicken mixture into lettuce leaves, and serve with Thai chili sauce on the side.
