A light and flavorful dish featuring seasoned chicken wrapped in crisp lettuce with a spicy Thai chili sauce.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup water chestnuts, diced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 head butter lettuce, leaves separated
  • 1/4 cup Thai chili sauce for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add sesame oil. Cook ground chicken until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add garlic and ginger to the skillet, sautΓ© for 1 minute. Stir in soy sauce, water chestnuts, and green onions. Remove from heat.
  3. Spoon the chicken mixture into lettuce leaves, and serve with Thai chili sauce on the side.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
