Cheesy Velveeta Rigatoni with Italian Beef Marinara

A creamy, cheesy pasta dish with a rich Italian beef marinara sauce.

For the Crust:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 pound rigatoni pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook the rigatoni pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add marinara sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning to the beef. Stir well and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Add the cubed Velveeta cheese to the sauce and stir until melted and well combined.
  5. Add the cooked rigatoni to the skillet and stir to coat the pasta with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
