Cajun Steak Tips in Cheesy Rotini Parmesan Sauce

  • Author: Chef Lolytta

Description

Tender, spicy steak tips and rotini pasta are smothered in a rich, creamy, and cheesy parmesan sauce for a comforting and flavor-packed meal.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch tips
  • 8 oz rotini pasta
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the rotini according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. While the pasta cooks, toss the steak tips with the Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak tips and sear for 4-5 minutes, until browned on all sides. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add the butter and garlic, sautΓ©ing for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Reduce heat to low and gradually whisk in the parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Add the cooked steak tips and any accumulated juices back into the skillet. Stir in the drained rotini pasta until everything is well coated and heated through.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
