Description
Tender, spicy steak tips and rotini pasta are smothered in a rich, creamy, and cheesy parmesan sauce for a comforting and flavor-packed meal.
Ingredients
Scale
For the Crust:
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch tips
- 8 oz rotini pasta
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the rotini according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- While the pasta cooks, toss the steak tips with the Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak tips and sear for 4-5 minutes, until browned on all sides. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add the butter and garlic, sautΓ©ing for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Reduce heat to low and gradually whisk in the parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the cooked steak tips and any accumulated juices back into the skillet. Stir in the drained rotini pasta until everything is well coated and heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
