For the Crust:

  • 1 medium butternut squash, peeled and cubed
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss butternut squash and Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the vegetables in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Roast for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway, until tender and caramelized.
  4. Drizzle with maple syrup (if using) and toss gently before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
