For the Crust:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually mix in the flour until well combined.
  3. Form dough into small balls, place on the prepared baking sheet, and flatten slightly. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
