For the Crust:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup blueberry preserves
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract and egg, mixing until combined.
  3. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Gently swirl in blueberry preserves and small dollops of cream cheese. Drop spoonfuls onto the baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden.
