Description

Blueberry Cheesecake Rolls are soft yeast rolls filled with sweet blueberry jam and creamy cheesecake, then baked to golden perfection. They’re a fruity, indulgent treat perfect for brunch, dessert, or special mornings.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Dough:

3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup warm milk

1/4 cup warm water

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 large egg

For the Cheesecake Filling:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Blueberry Filling:

1/2 cup blueberry jam or preserves

1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

Optional Glaze:

1/2 cup powdered sugar

23 teaspoons milk or lemon juice

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.

2. Add warm milk, water, melted butter, and egg. Mix and knead until smooth.

3. Let dough rise in a greased bowl, covered, for 1 to 1.5 hours or until doubled.

4. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Set aside.

5. Roll dough into a 10×14 inch rectangle. Spread cheesecake mixture evenly.

6. Top with blueberry jam and sprinkle fresh or frozen blueberries on top.

7. Roll tightly from the long side, then slice into 10–12 rolls.

8. Place in a greased 9×13 inch pan. Let rise again for 30–45 minutes.

9. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden.

10. Cool slightly and drizzle with glaze if using.

Notes

Use fresh or frozen blueberries. If using frozen, don’t thaw to avoid excess moisture.

Try lemon zest in the glaze for a citrusy twist.

Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently.
