For the Crust:
- 3 large sweet onions (such as Vidalia), thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Arrange the sliced onions evenly in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle melted butter over the onions.
- In a bowl, mix cheddar, mozzarella, Parmesan, crushed crackers, garlic powder, paprika, pepper, and salt. Sprinkle evenly over the onions.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the onions are tender.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
