For the Crust:

  • 3 large sweet onions (such as Vidalia), thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Arrange the sliced onions evenly in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle melted butter over the onions.
  3. In a bowl, mix cheddar, mozzarella, Parmesan, crushed crackers, garlic powder, paprika, pepper, and salt. Sprinkle evenly over the onions.
  4. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the onions are tender.
  5. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
