Deliciously seared scallops in a spicy Cajun cream sauce perfect for a scrumptious meal.

For the Crust:
- 1 pound sea scallops
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Pat the scallops dry with paper towels and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add scallops and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in cream, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
- Return scallops to the skillet and coat with sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
