For the Crust:
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 1 can (11 oz) mandarin oranges, drained
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp honey
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp sliced almonds (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Roast for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway, until tender and lightly charred.
- In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar and honey. Drizzle over roasted Brussels sprouts and toss to coat.
- Gently fold in mandarin oranges and sliced almonds (if using). Serve warm.
