For the Crust:

  • 1 box fudge brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on box)
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce, warmed
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Prepare brownies according to package directions. Let cool completely, then cut into 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a large bowl, beat peanut butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whip heavy cream and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Fold into peanut butter mixture.
  4. In a trifle dish, layer half the brownie cubes, half the peanut butter mousse, and half the fudge sauce. Repeat layers.
  5. Top with chopped peanuts if desired. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
