For the Crust:
- 1 lb flank steak
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1 large avocado, sliced
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 lime, juiced
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Season the flank steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Grill the steak for 5-7 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
- In a bowl, mix the diced tomatoes with lime juice and a pinch of salt.
- To assemble the stack, layer cooked rice, sliced avocado, grilled steak, and tomato mixture in a ring mold or small bowl. Press gently to compact.
- Carefully remove the mold and garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve immediately.
