For the Crust:

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, sliced thinly
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced steak and season with salt, pepper, and thyme. Cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sautΓ© for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  5. Return the cooked steak to the skillet and add the cooked pasta. Toss everything together until well coated in the sauce.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
