For the Crust:
- 2 ripe pears, sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 6 cups mixed greens
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1/4 cup candied pecans
- 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar. Add pear slices and cook until caramelized, about 5 minutes per side. Set aside to cool.
- In a large bowl, toss mixed greens with olive oil, honey, salt, and pepper.
- Arrange greens on a plate, top with caramelized pears, blue cheese, and candied pecans. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
