For the Crust:

  • 2 ripe pears, sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 6 cups mixed greens
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup candied pecans
  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar. Add pear slices and cook until caramelized, about 5 minutes per side. Set aside to cool.
  2. In a large bowl, toss mixed greens with olive oil, honey, salt, and pepper.
  3. Arrange greens on a plate, top with caramelized pears, blue cheese, and candied pecans. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
