For the Crust:

  • 1 (8 oz) wheel of brie cheese
  • 2 medium apples, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • Crackers or baguette slices for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Place brie on a parchment-lined baking sheet or in a small oven-safe dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook for 5-7 minutes until apples are tender and caramelized.
  3. Spoon the caramelized apples over the brie. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with walnuts if using.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is soft and gooey. Serve immediately with crackers or baguette slices.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
