For the Crust:
- 1 (8 oz) wheel of brie cheese
- 2 medium apples, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
- Crackers or baguette slices for serving
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Place brie on a parchment-lined baking sheet or in a small oven-safe dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook for 5-7 minutes until apples are tender and caramelized.
- Spoon the caramelized apples over the brie. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with walnuts if using.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is soft and gooey. Serve immediately with crackers or baguette slices.
