For the Crust:
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a 9Γ9 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla and mashed bananas.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add to the banana mixture and mix until well blended. Stir in the walnuts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan before serving.
