Banana Walnut Dream Cake

For the Crust:

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a 9Γ—9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla and mashed bananas.
  3. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add to the banana mixture and mix until well blended. Stir in the walnuts.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cake to cool in the pan before serving.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
